In order to enhance and give the possibility of acquiring the skills and abilities necessary for the development of research work, our students have a high participation in research projects carried out by the Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering.
Currently, students are involved in 19 different research projects, funded by national and international competitive calls and 7 PhDs, 5 carried out in industrial collaboration (AIRBUS, deimos, gmv, ienai space and SENER aerospace) and 2 carried out in institutional collaboration (ESA and Royal Institute and Observatory of the Spanish Navy).
Including, among others, 2 ERC Starting Grants, 1 FET-Open, 3 H2020 SESAR, 2 H2020 Space, 4 National Plan projects and 6 projects at regional level.
These projects are closely linked to the different research lines of the department and have extensive collaborations with academic and industrial institutions, at the national and international levels.
