Tethered satellites for propulsion without fuel

ESA has recently granted the Aerospace Engineering Research Group of UC3M with an Early Technology Development Project on the bare-photovoltaic tether concept. 4 Students awarded with FPUs

On Oct. 1st, the Spanish ministry of Universities published the resolution of the FPU scholarships (PhD scholarships at national level). Out of the 15 scholarships granted in the field of Naval and Mechanical Engineering (including aerospace), 4 scholarships were granted to 4 of our students: Alberto Marín, Iván Castro, Antonio Cuellar, and Enrique Aldao.
