Today we start the cycle “Meet Our PhD Students”. We are going to focus on some of them each week, discovering what projects they are involved in, their stays, their publications, but above all, who they are!
Today it’s the turn of:

His PhD work is under the supervision of Manuel Sanjurjo Rivo, Manuel Soler and Maryam Kamgarpour. He has collaborated in several projects, including MetATS. He is currently studying at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

María Scherezade Barquero Balsera
Her PhD is supervised by Eduardo Ahedo Galilea, Mario Merino Martínez and Jaume Navarro Cavallé. Her work is distinguished in several activities and in the MARTINLARA project.

His PhD is supervised by Mario Merino, and his contribution is fundamental in the development and progress of the ZARATHUSTRA-ERC Starting Grant 2020 project.

His work is supervised by Manuel Garcia Villalba and Oscar Flores. His excellent contribution finds its main focus in the project “QUENCA – Quantification of uncertainty in numerical simulations of cardiac flows”

His PhD is supervised by Gonzalo Sánchez Arriaga and his participation is fundamental in the E.T. Pack project. He is currently at the Los Alamos National Laboratory

Francisco de Borja De Saavedra García del Río
His PhD is developed in the framework of the industrial doctorates with the company IenaiSPACE. His supervisors at UC3M are Pablo Fajardo and Jaume Navarro. Their interesting activity focuses on the development of advanced space propulsion systems based on electrospray technology.
