Our Ph.D. program focus on the acquisition of skills and abilities required to undertake high-quality research work within the strategic framework and lines of research of the university. Thereby, our students highly participate in the research projects carried out by the Department of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering. In total, the students participate at the moment in 16 different research projects, funded by national and international competitive calls, and 3 doctorships, carried out within industrial collaboration (AIRBUS, deimos and SENER aeroespacial).
This includes, among others, 1 ERC Starting Grants, 1 FET-Open, 3 H2020 SESAR, 2 H2020 Space, 3 National Plan projects and 5 projects at Regional level. Those projects are highly linked to the divers research lines of the department and count with broad collaborations from academic and industrial institutions, on national and international level.
